Human Body

El Cuerpo Humano

Introduction

Introducción

Students familiar with the Latin-rooted biological names for body parts will find the Spanish words easy to remember. However, a frequent error English speakers make in Spanish is using possessive pronouns such as mi, tu, or su with body parts.

In English you say “my head hurts”, but the Spanish equivalent is me duele la cabeza (“the head hurts me”).
