Podemos usar ambos para preguntas. Can está en el presente, could es la forma pasada de can. Pero ambos se pueden usar para las mismas preguntas al pedir cosas, favores... Por ejemplo: * Could you help me? (podrías ayudarme? *Can you help me? (podes ayudarme?) En este caso significan la misma cosa perto el uso con COULD la hace un poco mas formal.
