I am a 24 year old student, currently doing a Masters in Theatre Studies at the Freie Universität, Berlin. I was born in Germany and grew up in New Zealand and Wales. Therefore, I grew up speaking English (also attending an English university for my Bachelors degree in German and Drama), but I have learnt German from my family so I speak both perfectly. During my Bachelors Degree I worked as an English Teaching Assistant for a year in Linz, Austria and between my time after my Bachelors degree and my Masters I worked the same role in St. Gallen, Switzerland. I also have one years experience in teaching online with 51talk, teaching Chinese students online. I greatly enjoy teaching English and sharing my cultural and linguistic knowledge. I have less experience teaching German but I hope to continue gathering experience with a wider range of students so I can become a great teacher of both languages!
